Erik Weir, President and CEO of Weir Capital Management, has created one of the turn-key financial firms of the new millennium, seeking to deliver the highest quality advice and money guidance for high net-worth investors.

Formerly a Senior Vice President of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) in San Francisco, Erik focused his energies on developing strong business relationships with corporate insiders and high net-worth individuals, whose collected portfolio amounted to $100,000,000 plus.

Before moving his business to the West Coast, Erik worked as a Senior Financial Consultant with Merrill Lynch in Atlanta, Georgia, where he spoke and toured nationally, teaching Financial Consultants asset allocation and goal setting. Erik also conducted several Merrill Lynch sponsored, televised call-in Q&A interviews.

In high school, Erik received his Real Estate license and trained in the martial art of Tae Kwon Do. While earning his degree at Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Finance, he competed as a nationally ranked black belt instructor and became founder and president of the Rho Epsilon Fraternity.

Erik was awarded the prestigious Outstanding Broker Award in 2002 by Registered Rep Magazine. This award is given to the top five brokers who provide exceptional service to their clients and have built some of the most successful financial practices. Weir Capital Management in 2009 and 2010 was also named one of the Fastest Growing Companies in South Carolina by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.

He continues to be involved in the community while following his passion of helping other people reach their financial goals. He travels nationally, visiting clients located in over 20 states in a plane he pilots. Erik enjoys flying and mixing that passion with visiting clients. Erik has been married for 15 years, has four boys and resides on a family farm in South Carolina.
